
Most Kenyan sites seem to have that issue. You have to include the prefix.. on other sites, you find that the address foo-bar.com redirects to www.foo-bar.com, instead of showing an error... I guess it's a Kenyan thing.. :) 2009/8/26 MotoBaridi <motobaridi@gmail.com>
Quick and short answer: insufficient DNS configuration. "www" is really a sub-domain of the main domain "ku.ac.ke" (relatively). It therefore needs to have an entry in the DNS for it to work.
