Hahaha..dark electricity! And electrolytic capacitors going off? hohoho...sounds pretty serious stuff going  :-)

You are going to need a static discharge circuit if you are working on 15000volts. This means ensure all the devices share a common connection and that you can "bury" a small copper slab/rod ( a trip to congo? ) into the ground. I've forgotten the depth of the copper requirement, but kplc enginners here should be your guide. Incase you have access to a 1-2MegaWatt power plant through your contacts, check out how they bury the copper first then mount the huge diesel engines over the plates. This is helpful in in many situations as the potential difference can cause serious problems.\

Here a simple must read for you. Safety first, http://www.iapa.ca/pdf/2004_feb_Static%20Electricity.pdf

Over and out.

am doing "dark electricity" so the last person i can allow in my house is a "KPLC" guy. anyway, landlord has allowed me to do a separate earthing so no harm to anyone taking a shower just in case i was doing my HV (over 15000vac/vdc) experiments. a few blasts have happened but that's normal for capacitors to blow up.

Thanx, checking them out.
