@ Steve ...so they picked emerging markets to get rid of old stock ?
By the way, these phones dont run Symbian. They run S40. S40 is not Symbian. Dont confuse it with S60 based phones. S40 is a propriety Nokia OS which is
being replaced by Meltemi Linux. So dont think this is the future of Nokia they are just getting rid of old stock.
Steve> After all the wait, I actually expected something awesome and revolutionary from Nokia. What I am seeing seemed to be devices recycled from existing backlog of materials. And there is no need to keep Symbian for the 'Emerging' market, if you decide to go Windows Phone, do it for all the devices.
>This is strategy bound to fail.
>Nokia will remain the 'the king of dumbphones' for sometime if this is all they have to show for a year of development.> _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke
