The server will be bought then what?
Mugo has valid points that can be discussed alongside purchase of the server.
What next for skunkworks? I think we suffer from 'too much talk'.Its about time we acted.
I am aware that this discussion has been had on skunkworks before but the fruits are yet to be seen. We can start by simply listing what we would like to see changed and move on from there.
Ama we all resign from our jobs and form a company called skunkworks IT. Am sure all IT in Nairobi would standstill fora while....

This government has allocated so much money to youth projects, I believe this would be a really great project and we can create projects with our expertise that will earn for us and for Skunkworks as an organization.
We consist of the best ICT professionals and there is a whole lot of revenue around that.
Labor can be voluntary and am sure we can get policies pushed.

@David, you know you are right and many on this share similar ideas. Whether govt will help to buy an ailing public server remains to be seen, so the best test of this in front of you. In the meantime, we have to try and do what we can.
