@Mich, Wash, Denis, Steve! LOL! Who can forget win3.1 work group.....My most memorable time was with kenpac ccts. Boy! were terminals real stoneage then, DOS windows with F key founctions. I remember what got me started in comms: motorola codex with was it X121 addressing? What is an Ip address, you say? Best part I ever did was setting up a serial printer as a telex via the motorola on a leased analogue line. Both ends needed expensive leaseline modems and dip switch settings....That thing printed! Magic.....

 

And please, let us not forget Netscape browser and finally Y2K bug! I missed the New years party in Dec 31st 1999........   :-)
