The reason I chose to put it on this list is because i met him onlist

and I read of such cases before. 

The guy stopped picking up calls and moving the goalposts. Am 

sure there are other people on the list who have suffered the same 

but are quiet about it.

Looking at that, you can see that at least he started paying! The
original poster did not mention that he had been paid part of the
deal, but rather created the impression that he had been swindled. I
am of the opinion he should have given the whole story - leaving
nothing to assumption or conjecture. I based my decision on killing
the thread on that. It's not meant to protect any of the protagonists,
but to give them room to solve the issue offlist.
