BACKGROUND
Knowledge management support would like to hire a consultant with the major responsibility of using social media, to increase usage and engagement of UN-Habitat’s knowledge platforms , and to support the agency’s resource mobilization efforts

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop a social media strategy to increase visibility, membership and traffic across the agency’s knowledge platforms, particularly the Urban Gateway and action plan to guide its implementation.

3. Define and monitor targets and benchmarks to measure the success of the social media strategy

DELIVERABLES:

Social media strategy. Implementation of the strategy leading to increased usage of developed knowledge systems

Duration of Assignment: 3 months

Minimum Qualifications and experience
Degree in internet marketing or social media. At least five years proven experience in applying social media strategies. Candidates should provide evidence of social media work through links to the respective sites.

Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively; Listens to others, correctly interprets messages from others and responds appropriately;

Teamwork: Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the expected goals; Solicits input by genuinely valuing others' ideas and expertise.

Payment: The Consultant will be paid on a monthly basis, subject to satisfactory performance of the duties outlined above.
