Ok3ch,
What I have in mind is a solution that will give some serious saving on bandwidth for those using squid. I need to find out who would be interested in such a solution, one that enables them to free up their bandwidth for other uses:)
With "serious", I mean something around 70% cache hit ratio.

Like I told you, I have a deployment, though its actually an added value for the customers who want it - I have been toying with the idea of implementing WCCP on the router to force it on all of them, but still thats just at it - next question?

Hello Skunks :-)
Are there techies here who actively use Squid cache in their networks?
What sort of deployments do you have?
Transparent/forward or both?
What value does it add to your network, if any?
I am interested in sharing information about efficient deployments - if any of you believe theirs is.
