Hey! Well I have not worked in the over seas but he can try one of the freelance sites like odesk.com. I believe he will find some work along his current career line. A friend is relocating to Ontario, Canada and is looking for job opportunities related to IT, as he buys time there (1year) for his own major plans. He plans on taking a professional course here in Nairobi - like A + N+ etc during the next 2 months before departure. The certificates will then serve as formal papers albeit the fact that he isn't a novice in IT. Just that he's in a different career line and wouldn't like to do dishes, loans or wait on tables.. :-)
So, the question is: What short course can land him a basic IT job out there in the West? I'm sure those who have worked in similar regions can share their experiences..
