@Bernard, Why aren't the various accounts chronological if at all they were all present with Jesus? None of the accounts were recorded in real-time, but were mostly 2nd, 3rd, even n^th accounts from memory and distorted word-of-mouth translations. (If only FB existed back then, Paul could just unfriend Judas chapchap and update status to "OMG!!! Judas just betrayed JC!!!<insert favourite Hebrew curse-word here>") Why was Judas book and account discarded? Probably because he chose to include little unpleasant details, escapades, in-house domestics etc etc that might have made JC & team look less than divine. In other words, Judas might have been too honest for the good of the young religion, so his records got the boot. The same happened to the old testament, where a bunch of books got discared from the mainstream versions of the bible, simply because they brought to light customs, disagreements etc that would have raised questions from the masses. Whatever the birth date, at least we get "many" days off work :) Have a sweel time everyone! Thanks ok3tch and Peter, It's evident that those were trying times for early Christians and yes, the cause is more important than the why. However, thank God for History and Natgeo channels. I've learnt that so much has been modified in history that the present books of the bible hardly resemble the earlier ones. There's a little evidence out there that He was born around April, though as Christians, what matters is that He came to shine light to His family, which is you and me. That light is the Truth, and thats what we celebrate each 25th. The date when Truth was revealed to mankind.
