In this case, my boss acted "a techie" and bought the SIM cutter. He has a microsim holder that came with the cutter but he hates the idea of remove microsim, install on holder, switch off some phone,, remove SIM, insert microsim, switch on, buy bundle (via sms), wait, wait, wait for confirmation, reverse the process!
 

Second option for buying bundles was from a postpaid line, and you simply buy the bundle for the iPad SIM... Works... 

Not sure how this works for postpay and not prepay.. How??

I still think buying the App that Mwagiru pointed to is less of a hassle.  I just can't test it since this guy is flying all the time with his iPad!
