[Skunkworks] Broadband over Powerlines

This is where KPLC or a more efficient cousin of there's provides broadband right from your socket. Just plug in youtr gadget and you have broadband. Just wondering on whether this is workable and safe. there must be lots of interference and noise from those huge companies switching their equipment on and off but its a pain most are willing to bear no?
