@Phares, spot on!  Even the proprietary systems are doing a shoddy amatuer job on the benefits of paying rather than starting an all out war against the system of abuse, deliberate piracy. The other thing is about the Kenya Copyright board, they are not a law onto themselves. Therefore, it would be nice for every kenyan to know what their rights are, we should list these. Can the board threaten you in any way whasover? Can it just walk into your premises and demand to inspect your computers ( this should not be the case ), what is the mode of testing for piracy and has this been approved within our Kenyan IT sectors legally? Do you need to have a lawyer present so that the testing procedure is not fiddled with? What representation does KCB have with the proprietary software vendors or is it a general extension.
