Has it occurred to you that in 10 years there might come some new technology that makes tablets irrelevant? Tablets and smart-phones have their places and that certainly is not in most production environments. They are consumer electronics Its like saying the segway will replace the car (post-car era). Weren't laptops supposed to kill desktops? Still waiting. Bloggers, journalist etc about the post-PC era just want to be relevant and possibly predict the future, so they can write: I said this x years ago. The day tablets come in 17+ inch screens with upgradeable RAM and GPU then just maybe I will consider a Tablet as a PC replacement ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Okechukwu" < > | To: "Skunkworks Mailing List" <skunkworks at lists.my.co.ke> | Sent: Thursday, March 8, 2012 4:00:07 PM | Subject: Re: [Skunkworks] 12 Reasons Why the iPad is Useless | | I'd love you to reproduce this 10 years from now, when the real | post-PC era has checked in! | | ../Ok3ch | | On Thu, Mar 8, 2012 at 3:56 PM, Arthur Buliva | <xxxxxxxxxx > wrote: | > | > Feel free to agree or disagree in the comments below.
