I meant to say that I think Google was itself involved not only in putting the logo on the back cover but also in "what manufacturers do with the Android prior to putting it on the device". Consider a big part of the manufacturers Google, and with the vigour with which they are pushing this device (Google IO, price subsidies, unlocked) they will most likely want to follow up with updates and goodies to keep the local Android fan from straying. I think its natural.

PS -> Ok, the exclamation mark at the end of your name/pseudonym gives the impression that I was shouting, not really. Just being precise about whom am addressing :-)
