Most of the speakers on this list are Kenyan, with Kenyan initiatives. It&#39;s not easy to get an event organised, it&#39;s Murphy&#39;s playground. It&#39;s even harder to get sponsorship for the same event. Or speakers. Events are expensive, so even with sponsorship, you may fall short. I have had to pay for events from my pocket on multiple occasions. Hence a cover charge. Cover charges also prevent time wasters. In short, appreciate the opportunity to attend the event, if you do not feel it&#39;s adequate, try putting one together... Only after laying on a bed of roses, does one realize that the stalks a thorny....<br>
