[Skunkworks] How to know a device, Operating system/or firmware

Hi Skunks, I would like to know how given a IP address, way to know the type of host the IP is connected to. I know of Dude can in a way,but looking a better option. (Advanced ARP) Regards, Edwin Ngige I.T Support
