GG, I don't get you! Are you saying someone having ITIL and Prince 2 will NOT face the challenges Mutuma is talking about?
Most organizations see the ICT Department as an unnecessary capex, and in most cases put it under the Finance Director - to make sure ICT don't spend. Some organizations do not even have an ICT budget, preferring ad hoc expenditure when things break down. In most organizations, no one even thinks about the ICT unit until something they were doing cannot be done - then they remember there is someone handling ICTs.

I haven't studied ITIL and Prince 2 or whatever, so do I google how these two end up mitigating the challenges Mutuma mentioned?
