So you need some header files. I am guessing, because I don't know much about compiling apps on Linux:-)

On the *BSD side, we just do:

cd /usr/ports/net-mgmt/zabbix

make config (choose what you need compiled in)

make install clean (and everything will be pulled for you auto)

For Linux, please read a good HOWTO, install all the required header files, make sure they are in the right libs search path.
