Hello Curious, anyone here willing to share how Safaricom cloud is setup? I mean I tried googling and I can't find much technical information other than the normal crap that appear on business publication. For example, do they use xen for vitualization? What can be adjusted on the console, CPU, RAM, storage ? Is the storage local or shared? For example on EC2, you can set up a VM with storage on SAN or local to the instance? You able to change the firewall? Do you have ability to choose any distribution? For example, on EC2, one can choose go with either RedHat, Ubuntu or even export a local installation as EMI Anyway, I guess I asking for a technical introduction to Safaricom cloud.
