I've been using Celtel Kenya Limited (thats who the cheques go to) for the last 5 years. Their services have been better and cheaper all along, but they cant seem to communicate this to the masses. They should shout that they are cheaper, instead of having a school girl singing "Malaika..." in the toilet. Vuka tarrif was exciting till it was quietly dropped off. @Osotsi, have you seen the Zain Ad on page 27 in today's nation? it reads 'Going green is not always the better option!' they dragged safaricom into the price war!
Lets wait and see, hope they have a better strategy this time its Airtel not Kencell! Think Airtel has been in the game before in India so cant rule them out yet though market dynamics will tell.
