A pal was shipping a brand new Lenovo T440s via the Somali shippers from China and they broke his LCD.
He has been exploring options of getting that fixed. So far, TBM are charging about 40% the price of the device, equivalent cost of a new PC.
His other option is getting that fixed in the US, but requires a lot of coordination between a person travelling and a repair shop as the shops do need notice.
Any one with an affordable, alternative solution here?
