Does someone know of an equipment that is good enough for such a project, yet not so expensive. If it doesn't have to be mounted outdoor the better, but still I am okay with it if it has to use an outdoor antennae. I suppose the antennae should be omnidirectional.
The equipment can be either an AP or Router.
Which equipment suppliers do I talk to?
I have found signal boosters to be useless... You could use a standard wifi router with a directional antenna... for instance... the wrt54g router has tnc-rp connector... dlink routers come with a sma-rp connector for an external antenna....
