It depends on how you look at it . You see the PS3 is not just a Game console but a full Home Media Centre that doubles up as a blu ray player( a standard blue ray player goes for about the same amount), MP3 storage Video storage and Internet console hence .

If I were you would go for the Ps3 on that alone.
