My scenario:
I need to transmit video from a computer over a distance of about 1Km. The only link I have between the two points is a Point to Point, wireless. I need the signal on the other end to enter a "box" as an analogue signal. My thoughts so far have been encode to mpeg4,. transmit via wireless and then decode back to analogue. So my question in brief, Can I run vlc on one send a uni or multicast to this device and use it as my decoder?
