With literally zero effort put into solving the problem try this:

pdf->jpg (imagemagick) followed by Fred Weinhaus's (sp?) multicrop script (also imagemagick).

I don't think there's an automated way to do it other than slogging through the PDFs and exporting them as high quality PNG or JPEG format.
