I shop a lot on Ali express (Alibaba) and whenever I dispute, and the seller settles I get a refund after about 15 days. 
Depending on your bank the process is automatic but some other banks require you to follow up with the card center.

I use Equity and KCB and I get refunds after about 2 weeks but I might be required to follow up with them.
