am also suspicious of these so called leaks. First of all they dont really tell us anything new or juicy and neither are they too exposing of anyone influential enough. Secondly they are too redacted to even be useful leaks. every government has the official stance and the actual stance. That the American government says one thing in the press and another through its corridors is not a leak. Its blady logic. This Assange character is also suspect. its like letting a fire start at an oil refinery then just managing it so that its not too hot and it doesn't go out either. Thats why they are being released slowly so that we stay transfixed on them. Am thinking this is engineered at passing legislation to control the Internet. Or worse. Mark the conspiracy theorist out. Ever heard of psyops. The Americans are masters of this art. Look at how they persuaded most of the world into War in the name of fighting terror.
Personally I take everything with a pinch of salt especially if it comes from mainstream media.

I am inclined to conclude that this whole wikileaks maneno is american PR machinery at work, either to avert attention from something wikileaks might have unearthed earlier by watering down the whole thing or to divert attention from critical diplomatic matters, say like USA's diminishing influence in africa and the emerging giant of the east. Some things dont add up... 1: The leaks are obviously edited, by who? why are some names crossed out? it feels like the "leaks" were dished out to elicit a certain reaction. 2: Why are they being dished out in intervals? giving time for political analysts to ponder and "clean" before releasing? 3: Does anyone here know how leaks are released to the masses? YEs, one HUUUUGE torrent with tons of GB, or self extracting multipart archives with all the juicy stuff intact not this maneno ya cyphers... why take time to create a leaks website where everyone browsing through can easily be busted and traced?
