Disclimer, not an objective brain here, but I also thought it was drivers issue.

Think about it, on desktop, if you have issues, you restart your computer and all is well, don't that point to a software problem?

How do we arrive on a different conclusion here considering this just a mobile computer?  I could understand it if he has to switch off the phone for a while as that could point to overheating.

Anyway if you ever find a fix, please share. Would go along way in satisfying a curiosity
