Barrack, We are onto several "actions", for example, yesterday afternoon CCK held a Consumers Public Forum at the University of Nairobi where I also spoke. Praised success of this new initiative by CCK (judging from the very many consumers complaints now arising, everywhere). We are happy to continue partnering with the Regulator on it, in order to strengthen consumer position and uphold their rights while acknowledging businesses rights too - it's a two-way thingie.. When the journey starts on the right footing at the right somewhere, things change!! regards On Thu, May 21, 2009 at 9:17 AM, Barrack Otieno <otieno.barrack@gmail.com> wrote:
Interesting, there exists an ICT consumers association maybe its time it had a website and a forum where users can log their complaints, Alex what do you say? to say the least, quality of service in most telcos, IBPs, and ISPs has been wanting yet consumers have been paying though their nose for those services, we need a middle ground and that can only be the association, our brothers have something going on we should follow suit.
