
Aki - right on !!!! Mbugua I do agree that quality is also a factor but price is key !!! After all if Zain does not produce quality who will lose out but them ? I will just move again !!!! @Mbugua, you seem to miss one point that even business giants like Mobicom know how to differentiate their business investments. Right now, Zain is the hottest thing to be and top businessmen like Mobicom are going to be asking themselves whether they still want to hold on to "loosers" they just moved to. Orange has much more to loose if it sticks to its currrent rates. The spiralling effect is already in progress. What will finally nail it for Safaricom is if Zain/Orange launches 3g with fixed and affordable rates. I've been using the test service on Orange 3g and its been doing very well.
The lesson that Safcom need to learn here is simple. Bottomline = Rates must go down. ;-)
