Hi Washington, The most important value proposition of an i-Phone is that its trendy, that's the true value. Its a phone you want to show in public, similar to a trendy car (BMW X6 for instance, a toyota Prado would do the same but you would rather a BMW). Technically, an i-Phone provides a convergence of business and pleasure. *Business*: mail sync (Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Yahoo...); VPNs (L2TP, Cisco IPSec..); Cisco Webex, Apple Store *Pleasure*: Safari browser (better browsing experience), i-Pod, i-Tunes... The Apple Store in particular is very rich, over 100,000 apps. Other smartphones also have similar features, but as I mentioned, the i-Phone is trendy. Thanks but in the life of me, I touched an iPhone once, but what I am interested in knowing is what is it that an iPhone does so uniquely in communications that other phones (high end I am referring to, but not dependent on some phone OS) cannot do? What does an iPhone do so differently, or all this hype is just because it an "Apple"? (I know Joe M... must be looking so surprised. He loves "Apple")
