And while answering Watchman's question, I too have a phenomenon: I recently installed Firefox 3.6.10 on a newly installed PC (XP Pro with SP2, not joined to a domain). The Firefox works well on my profile (admin), but on other users' profiles, it says Alert: Security something. SSL is disabled; I can open ordinary pages http, but https no. I have deleted the Mozilla folder on the affected user's Application Data and Local Settings,, I have even deleted and recreated the user's profile, upgraded the user to Admin but still the same problem.
Google Chrome opens https pages, but the https part in the address up there is crossed out with a red X !
Anyone experienced the same thing?

Got a question for you8. I cannot for the life of me figure this one out. My browser(s) including Chrome shows text like it was written in Windows Paint!

Anyone know how to resolve this melodramatic scenario?
