so can the whitelisting thing work because i was thinking of implementing it.
Imagine i have a problem where i am working for a client and their mails (they are using MDAemon) cannot be sent .but they can receive mails from wherever!
the settings from the mail server are perfect , i mean i have followed the right track all through.
the isp is access kenya but when we contact them they are of no help to me.
I am very much lost , am thinking of implementing the whitelisting procedure and see i it works.
advice me on that
James,
If you have more than one IP then changing is you only option here, otherwise your only hope is google support. Whitelisting on other blacklist databases may not be of help as google probably does not check them.

Good start with cleaning your LAN but you need to ensure that spamming from
your network does not recur again by installing a spam filter on your
gateway. Once you have protected your LAN you will have to manually unlist
your IP/domain from the online DNS blacklist lookup tools available (e.g.
http://multirbl.valli.org), which will take a few days depending on the
blacklist mail servers.

@Karunyu, You must be a Systems Designer/Analyst. @ Njoroge, You must be a
Systems Developer/Programmer. I like both arguments coz what we are all
saying is that a technological solution is required - the end justifies
the
means - and that for it to be feasible, some analysis/design is required -
means to an end.

Hi,
Our lan had spambots that let to our IP being blacklisted. We cleaned
the lan and put up measures to ensure it doe not happen again.
we are not able to send mail to gmail. we have filled some google
online form for whitelisting, but it seems to be taking forever.
Is there a quick way for whitelisting the ip on gmail?

PS 3==
God of War III (plus God of War titles repackaged for the PS3) - truly
intense
Red Dead Redemption
Hitman
Twisted Metal
etc name it
I dont know what playable formats the Xbox supports -- but the PS3 support
of external hardisks and playback of xvid, divx and mp4 formats is quite
an
advantage. Video media also playable straight from the internet without
undue pluggins

Final Verdict is here from a technical point of view (PS3 wins on most
fronts):
