
I meant it will probably not work. It will only work if the 4G we had in Kenya is either 700 MHz or 2100 MHz, that what the current iPad supports. Ib definitely know it is not 700 MHz seeing that is being used by analogue television, but maybe it is 2100 MHz. @ Bernard Mwangiru can clarify. But as it stands, we don;t even know what frequency a commercial implementation of 4G will use. I have heard 2600 MHz, other in the industry are championing for 700 MHz currently at the hands of well connect TV barrons. The 700 MHz offer much larger coverage, so fewer base stations and should be easier to implement. Higher frequencies cover much less area, and require more BTSs. But as I said, future 4G chips will be quad-band and would work almost everywhere.
