Hello skunks,
A client has asked me to set up a server for some specific tasks. My poison will be Debian, Postgres and a host of very un - steve jobs applications. (Including openbravo ERP). I seek from the experts here the demerits of saying.. ok, we can use one of your existing machines as the server (In this case a Mac OS desktop).
I know it is technically possible to run linux on these machines, is it foolish to try? or should i just stick to good ole HP servers...
Cheers. *“The twentieth century has been characterized by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power, and the growth of corporate propaganda as a means of protecting corporate power against democracy”*
