The upgrade to mint 11 worked I don't know why i dint think of this earlier.Thanks. The only notable changes on the graphics driver is the version 1.2 mesa 7.9 to 1.2 mesa 7.10.2 is there a command to update a graphics driver alone on mint/linux? this is for reference purposes.
