3com as a bare minimum for unmanaged switches - they run with no downtime even 5 years down the line. I've had mixed results with D-Link especially the unmanaged switches - I think there are some serious quality issues they need to resolve as I find they are NOT durable. For managed switches, Cisco's the way to go...
