My new LED Samsung TV went dead yesterday...
Backlight is there as well as sound but there is no picture.
After doing a search, I found out that one capacitor blew and that it is indeed a major problem with the Samsung TV as over 10 millions screens were replaced free of charge in US.
It seems that Samsung go for cheap underated low 10V capacitor instead of 35V. My TV is still under warrantly and I bought it at Victoria but since it took these guys 3 weeks to repair a camera (just because they refuse to pay the repair in advance - yes, they expect the client to come, pay the fee and wait three hours for the camera to arrive from Samsung) I am relunctant to go there
