
I have been Roaming with airtel and Safcom for long to know that most of the times its not the home networks .. last month I was in Senegal .. and was roaming .. if I did on TIGO senegal then all manner of problems appear .. the call is noisy, delayed sms , when someone call I have no idea who they are .. but when I switch and roam on Orange senegal then everything is clear so it might just be the choice of the local Network where ever he is ... Issue is, when you call them with an issue, they escalate it to (IT) India. I doubt a man that trots the globe wants to wait forever for an answer from India, but really its painful when your preferred line doesn't serve you right.
