@Matere, If possible, try spend more time learning about Google Wifi Internet. It may help you big time build on community wifi networks. What tools they use, what kind of expertise they can discuss with you on hardware, what kind of deployments they do, how they create backhauls, how they power those wi-fi radios is remote areas etc. For the notice boards that you had planned, this knowledge would be totally significant for you.
