My point are two, mabbe i wasnt very clear:

1) My first point says that the unlock is ROM based, thus has nothing to do with outside control (earlier email).

2) My second long explanation says that even if the mobile operator tried to screw up your bandwidth, or lock the modem, the amount of work would not be worth the trouble (I went through the process of trying to isolate modem IMEIs within the network)

I hope this makes things clearer now; I unlocked my modem in January/February, and when the network is good, I enjoy good speeds, when its bad,,, well...
