Today in the morning, at around 0730, there was a feature on the tribulations France Telkom has encountered in its operations at Telkom Kenya, and one of the recurring statements in that feature was that Safaricom was/is receiving favours from the government...
Some guy called Steve Biko seemed to blame this as the cause of the woes France Telkom is having in turning in a profit.
I think i heard something to the effect that Safaricom didn't pay for the 3G license, but i am not sure coz i was still a bit sleepy...
