Bla bla bla, we know the constraints. Don't forget you're on a tech forum. The bottom line of this whole speed story is not about infrastructure; the bottom line is that Safaricom(and all the other mobile networks) want a quick return on investment on their 3G network, and they want to maintain the super-profits that they've been earning on voice and SMS in the past. Do not try to deny this, I can pull recordings from YouTube of Micheal Joseph saying that Safcom must make their money back within 2 years :eyeroll: . This is ridiculous thinking. A 3G network is a long-term investment. There is nothing wrong with recouping your money in 5-10 years while making your customers happy and making a normal profit. you guys should understand the constraints of providing connectivity thru gsm/3g wireless access channels (that handle voice/data/mpesa and sms )and should not be compared with data dedicated wimax links
