[Skunkworks] Zuku on Ubuntu (direct without router)

Hi all, I'm using Zuku on Ubuntu connected directly, without a router. It worked fine a few days after the connection then lost network. It says ethernet not connected. I tested the machine on a different Zuku connection with a router and it worked fine, so hardware is working. A MacBook connected directly without router works, so internet connection is working. Zuku customer care are not very helpful so far. Is there anyone with a similar setup?
