@Jangita..I beg to differ. With the new jabber/xmpp plugins you can now do video chats, voice calls and even file transfers. Check out Empathy IM for linux...it serves these purposes!<div><br clear="all">Have a great day!<br>

Google talk uses the XMPP originally brought to us by Jabber <a href="http://www.jabber.com" target="_blank">www.jabber.com</a> - so any XMPP client can log in to google talk server <a href="http://talk.google.com" target="_blank">talk.google.com</a> and chat. Not for voice calls though...<br>
