@Aki,
These slow speeds have become a general phenomena since TEAMS! It's not just Orange, but almost every provider. I am beginning to think that the KES 200 Safaricom deal was actually meant to test how much they can push on the cables but in this process of testing everyone else is taking a hit. Bogus reasoning there, but it might just turn out to be true. I am using AK and downloading even 100MB now wants to take hours...
@Wash, two things I settled for Orange 3g+ was consistency and reliabilty. Besides the usual month end downtime for a few hours ( possibly caused by internal staff discontent... ), they have maintained uptime and speeds from day one. Do you think we are now seeing an emergence of using TEAMS to TEAM-UP against users or prove a point to Govt/Regulator that cheaper services means more complaints? Or just that configuring TEAMS is going to take a while so we can expected better services soon.
Any luck with AK slow speeds and explanations they offered about the situation?
me thots... :-)
Rgds.
