@Simon ... you need to be very careful here. Wash is your competitor!
In an interview the interviewer is not supposed to criticize an answer whether right or wrong and when correcting one should try to be as polite as possible but it is allowed in a debate where two people are fighting for the same opportunity or position.
Looking at Wash's 2nd email he says ' ... I did read the whole e-mail and found all the pertinent details...' He found them, what did he do with them? Only a very interested person would read this much.
To be honest, he is not such detailed '...You don't seem to pay attention to detail, which generally is a major requirement...' Did he miss an 's' in the word details or he only saw one detail?
