Some years back, by 8pm the traffic lights begin flashing amber. During public holidays and weekends traffic lights flashed amber. Back then a lot of thought and planning was done. Nowadays, with cameras on poles next to the road and wires hanging, it feels like it is a science fair priject done by some form ones :)

Or cop calls the NOC and alerts them that they are about to take over
a certain intersection. And hopefully forgets to call again ;)
I run out of fingers counting the ways this system will get misused
before the HUMAN factor (cops, controllers) get their act together.
