In my view, Wordpress is one of the best CMS' ever made... and the growth from just a blogging platform to a full CMS is a nice one to watch. Wordpress in written in very simple structures and its theme frameworks are easy to work with. You can easily turn wordpress into anything and its more secure than most CMS systems. I did projects like http://kikwete2010.co.tz and http://shebaresorts.com on wordpress and I wouldnt go otherwise if I had a choice. David.
